- Q: What is a plastic injection mold?
Q: What is Injection Molding Machine?
A: Injection Molding is the use of heat and pressure to force plastics into a cavity (mold) to create the component in a precision repeatable manner. It is most typically used in mass-production processes where the same part is being created thousands or even millions of times in succession.
Q: What is a plastic injection mold?
A: An injection mold is a tool that is used to form parts in the plastic injection molding process. Tools are custom designed to allow for a specific part geometry, size, cooling methods, and injection pressure. Moulds can be built with a single cavity to build one part at a time, multi-cavity for several parts at a time, or family to build several different parts at the same time. Tools can be built out of several different metals including aluminium, steel, or hardened steel, depending on the life cycle required.
Q: Why use injection molding for my product?
A: Plastic injection moulding offers unmatched versatility; plastic parts can be used across virtually any industry. The most common plastic injection molding applications are typically found in the packaging, consumables, electronics, automotive & transportation, construction, and medical device industries
Q: How do I know if injection molding is the right process for my product?
A: This depends on your product – specifically, its design, purpose and anticipated production cycle. Your budgetary considerations will also be a factor. With that in mind, components with more complex geometries and a highly repetitive manufacturing process are excellent candidates for injection molding.
Q: What kind of plastics can I use?
A: The most common material for plastic injection molding is thermoplastic; a polymer which becomes mouldable when exposed to a specific temperature and solidifies when cooled. Some examples are PP, PC, PET, HDPE, LDPE, PA, PE etc..
Q: What is the range of your machines?
A: Sanshun disposes of several horizontal injection molding machines for special products like PET Preform, PVC Pipe Fitting etc. in the range of 100 to 2000 tons.
Q: How can Sanshun meet my needs for custom specifications?
A: Sanshun technical people are ready to sit down face to face and review your specific application and suggest how we can meet your challenging plastic problem.
Q: How much does a plastic injection molding machine cost?
A: Complexity of the mold, including mold design, size, and the number of cavities, product weight, and materials used all have major impacts on the overall cost of the moulding machine. Machine costs can range from a few thousand dollars for a small tonnage machine to hundreds of thousands of dollars for medium or large size machines.
Q: Are your machines ISO 9001 Certified?
A: Yes our machines certified with ISO9001 quality standards and prove that our Quality Management System is appropriate, effective and meets customer and applicable statutory & regulatory requirements and assure the safety & performance of our Injection Moulding Machines.
Q: What are your standard lead times?
A: Normally production time is around 30-60days, the exactly depend on what kind of machine you order. The shipping time is based on your destination port.
Q: How to install my machines when it arrives? How much the cost?
A: We will send our engineers to your factory to install the machines and train your staff how to operate the machines. Customer pay air tickets go and back, accommodation, meals and USD50/day/person.
Q: How long time for installation?
A: According to your machines order, we will send one or two engineers to your plant, it will take about 2 days to 15 days.
Q: What’s your warrantee or the warranty of the quality if we buy your machines?
A: We offer you high-quality machines with 1-year warranty and supply life-long technical support.
Q: How about the spare parts?
A: We will send one year enough easy broken spare parts together with the machines, shipping together. During the warranty time, we will supply the spare parts with our cost including the delivery fees.
Q: How do I set up a consultation with a Sanshun representative?
A: Fill out the form or call 0086-13857882024, to schedule a meeting
