Antifreeze measures during the winter shutdown

 

In order to ensure the normal operation of the injection molding machine and avoid unnecessary economic losses, after the injection molding machine is shut down, please be sure to prevent freezing and do cold maintenance work to prevent the water in the components from freezing and causing damage to the components!

 

Winter is coming, the injection molding machine needs to pay attention to antifreeze after shutting down. When the indoor temperature is below zero, the cooling components on the injection molding machine should be anti-freeze treatment to ensure safe production. The specific steps are as follows:

 

01 First turn off the cooling water tower, water pump, chiller and mold cooling system, etc., cut off the water source of the injection molding machine and auxiliary machines.

 

02 At the end of the injection molding machine, the cooling water main outlet pipe is removed, and the water in the pipe is drained.

 

03 The cooling components on the injection molding machine mainly include an oil cooler, water-cooled inverter, electric pre-plasticization, mold cooling system, water filter, water drain, etc.

 

04  After closing the water source, remove the water inlet and outlet connections, drain the water in the cooling components, and blow out all the residual moisture inside the cooling components with high-pressure air to avoid rust or oxidation.

 

05  When the injection molding machine is used again, reinstall the water inlet and outlet joints of the cooling components, and pay attention to cleaning the filter on the water inlet pipe of the oil cooler.
